Some days ago we visited the Jeong: Traditional Korean Medicine and received two treatments! One facial massage and an acupuncture. We were very excited about the experience yet we were also extremely surprised with the relaxing place overlooking the green garden and the amount of rooms available for guests. The owners have taken good care of every detail, from the place where you can leave your shoes, to the outside garden and living room, where they offer you tea until you receive your treatment, and to the rooms, which are perfectly clean and tidy.
The owners are a brother and a sister from South Korea, who warmly welcome you and explain all the procedures. Both are certified doctors, the advice that they give you before, during and after the treatments are not solely related to relaxation and beauty but also for your own well-being. For the facial massage, we were escorted upstairs, first we consulted considering the face care, then we had to remove our jewelry. Later on we started the treatment which included massaging the facial muscles in a way that your face looks rejuvenated and naturally lifted. She also explained that around our shoulders we have energy spots, which if put pressure on, can help with the circulation of energy around the body.
About the acupuncture, we first consulted with the brother, who checks your veins and gives you advice about your health. The consultation was very personalized and analytical about our body and diet. Afterwards, he carefully placed the needles, which help the body to relax and feel a lot lighter. For those, who have not tried it yet, the experience may look painful but we confirm that in fact it translates more to fear of needles rather than actual pain.
Overall, a very unique service, which brings South Korean beauty and medicine techniques at the heart of Wroclaw!
