During the renovation of one building at ul. Ruska writings have been discovered in Wrocław. –

Currently the arcades are being renovated at ul. Ruska. At the height of the pedestrian crossing, opposite the Pegaz office building, the construction workers discovered German inscriptions under the plaster layer.

The Wrocław guide familiar with the city’s history explains that these are most likely advertising slogans, because ul. Ruska was once a shopping street where many merchants lived. Interestingly, not only food, but also women’s underwear were sold here.

Question is – will the inscriptions discovered be renewed or painted over? That all will depend on the city’s conservator authorized to decide on it following a verification of the discovery’s historical value.
