MAN Truck & BusPolska Sp. z o.o. withdraw from signing a contract for the supply of 50 low-floor articulated buses with the option of delivering another 50 vehicles. MPK Wrocław therefore opted for the second bidder that submitted its bid in the tender – EvoBus Polska Sp. z o.o.
MPK Wrocław settled the tender for the purchase of a new rolling stock at the end of June 2018. The company chose an offer submitted by MAN Truck & Bus Polska Sp. z o.o., which was more favorable than the proposal of EvoBus Polska Sp. z o.o.
Four months later, following a mandatory control and inspection of the contract by the Public Procurement Office which until November, MAN Truck & Bus Polska Sp. z o.o. suddenly informed the carrier that the performance of the contract was no longer possible under the conditions specified in the procedure and that they withdraw from the contract. As a result the next supplier was selected, who took par tin this tender – the company EvoBus Polska Sp. z o.o., the supplier of Mercedes Citaro vehicles. They should be delivered to Wrocław in the second half of 2019.These will be the next buses of this brand in Wrocław. Let’s remind that 60 new Mercedes are already on our streets since last spring.
