For the first time, MaluMika is offering wheel-throwing workshops with ceramic artist Karolina Kamińska. Karolina graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław in ceramic art and restoration and has been leading painting and slip-casting workshops at MaluMika for the last year.
In the first edition, we have room for 8 people who will individually coordinate with Karolina on a mutually agreeable time. The sessions will take place in 1-hour blocks; we propose signing up with a friend to be able to learn from each other and making it a 2-hour block (wherein you will essentially each pay for one hour of wheel time). We can also match you with a partner.
We provide the wheel, the clay and all other materials necessary for shaping and creating wheel-thrown ceramics. After firing (and anytime during MaluMika hours), you will also be able to use our paints and glazes to decorate your ceramic items. That cost is also included in the price of the workshop. You can sign up for either 6, 8 or 10 sessions. The full price of the workshop and materials must be paid in advance (It can be split into two payments). You receive the same amount of materials regardless of how many workshops you attend.
If you cannot make a session, you must notify us at least 24 hours in advance. You may reschedule one of your sessions with no penalty; if you cancel twice or more, those cannot be rescheduled. The key to wheel throwing is consistency and commitment.

The pricing is as follows:
Materials: 400zł (includes 25kg of clay, glaze and firing of your finished pieces)
Workshops:
• 6 workshop package: 270 zł (670zl total with materials)
• 8 workshop package: 340 zł (740zł total with materials)
• 10 workshop package: 400 zł (800zł total with materials)
45 zł for each additional hour
